Global Christmas Trees
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago hosts a gorgeous collection of Christmas trees decorated to represent areas around the world during the Christmas season. After visiting the museum last week, I created a Google Tour Builder for my students to use as a launch point/reference in our Global Citizenship class. My students are intrigued by how different countries recognize the same holiday.
Check out our Global Christmas Trees Tour with your students! For most of the 50 trees on display at MSI, we were able to include a close-up picture of the ornaments and decorations, a picture of the bottom of the tree, a picture of the top of the tree, and a picture of the information plaque.

Connect with Our Class Project
We invite you to harness the power of Google Tour Builder to share your school and community with other classrooms around the world. You can showcase the art, architecture, and education system of your community via a Google Tour, and submit it to be placed on our crowd-sourced map below. You can also submit your contact information to be listed as a potential connection to meet virtually with other classrooms via Google Hangouts. Visit our project at Terra Connect EDU to learn more!
